typing 'halt' and properly exiting the UML environment. The lab
machines we are using are shared resources, and leaving UML running
when not in use makes the machines unusable for other
students. Moreover, it also corrupts your root_fs file and cause
unnecessary hassle.
8/29: The project submission process is changed. Now you will submit your project files using Blackboard. See the Project page for updated information
8/28: I have extended the Project 1 deadline by a day, to
9/4. This will give you an extra chance to ask me questions during my
Monday office hours.
8/25: For the projects, you have to login to a CS Linux
machine using a SSH client. For windows machines, you can obtain a SSH
client by searching the Internet for "putty download" and obtaining
putty.exe. Once you have a client, login to rlogin.cs.vt.edu with your
CS SLO login.

and select a paper that you would like to present, and email me your
choice.
