Online Submissions

Submit Assignment

CS 1704 uses the Curator automated acceptor for online assignment submissions. All CS 1704 assignments must be submitted using the Curator unless assignments explicitly specify otherwise. The Curator is a client-server application, written in Java, that allows students to submit their assignments, which are archived and timestamped. (The Curator timestamp will be used to determine late submission penalties.) E-mail is sent to the student confirming the submission. A valid Va Tech PID is required in order to use the Curator. Student documentation for the Curator may be downloaded from the Curator home page.

See the format submissions page for guidelines on archiving assignment submissions.

Students are advised not to wait until the last day a program is due or near midnight of any day to submit an assignment. Programming assignments may NOT be submitted by email as attachments to instructors or TAs for any reason! See the course policies on late work, email, hardware and network problems.

"A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools."

- Douglas Adams, Mostly Harmless
