Subject:      Welcome to the CS 5744 listserv

The course listserv is now operational. An on-line archive and info
about the list are available on the course web site, which you can
access once you have been assigned to a team. If you need to
change your e-mail address or be added to/removed from the list,
send e-mail directly to me and I'll take care of you.

Also, if you have not visited the course web site yet, please do so
at:

This site is also reachable through the courses web server. The first
homework assignment has already been posted, due this Thursday. Be sure
to read the assignment soon, since it explains what you should do to
get your team assignment, as well as how to get set up for our on-line
meetings.
