Professionalism in Computing
Objectives
This class, being the first of the semester, has the objectives of setting
out the purpose of the course in the broader context of a computer science
curriculum (though it is recognized that some non-majors do take this course),
to explain the methodologies to be used in the study of the topic, and
the class organization. The primary outcome of this class should be an
understanding of "community values", how they come about and
how they affect our daily lives.
