Late penalty?

Subject:      Late penalty?

When I just submitted (at 3 in the morning on Wed.), I got a late penalty of
20 points. The spec says that this program is due at the start of class on
Wednesday. I was under the impression that this program was like the Pascal
program - we could submit it up until class time.

Am I wrong, or was the late penalty not meant to take effect yet?
