CS 3204 Revised Grading Policy Spring 2007

• Projects: You will have a chance to submit project 4. The due date is Monday, May 7th, 23:59pm. There are no late days, and late days you may have had left have expired. (That's the last day we can accept submissions and still get them graded, considering that the graduation date has not been moved.) Your score for project 4 will be multiplied by 1.5.

  If you have group members who decide to not continue, you may reshuffle your group. You must do so by Thursday, Apr 26th.

• Exams: We will offer a final exam as scheduled.

• Course grade: Your course grade will include:
  • Your project 0 score.
  • The best 3 out of the 4 scores received for projects 1, 2, 3, and 4, where the project 4 score is adjusted as described above.
  • The better of final or midterm exam score. If you decide not to take the final exam, it will be your midterm score.

  The relative weights will be such that the projects will count for a relative weight of about 340-390, whereas the exam score will count for a relative weight of about 200.

• Tentative Grade: We will not be able to tell you your tentative grade until we have project 3 graded. We will provide a tentative grade by the last day of classes, which is May 2.

• University Options: Options that the university provides are unaffected. These include withdrawal without counting against your 6 hour limit; and the option of switching to a P/F grade, while still having the course counted for graduation. It is our understanding that you may delay your decision on which option to exercise until the last day of classes.
