Several of the papers linked to from the September 12th entry in the CS 5204 calendar are to materials stored at the www.acm.org site and available free of charge to Virginia Tech under an agreement between ACM and Virginia Tech. However, the agreement is implemented by testing the IP address of the requestor. If you are attempting to access these links from outside the university IP space, then you can use libraries proxy server which requires that you have a valid Virginia Tech PID. August 23 (10:00AM)

There is still no response from the Registrar's office on the availability of another room. Our
head secretary called them this morning and they are working on our request but do not have
an answer at this time.

August 22 (4:30PM)

I have not been able to make decisions on force-adds to the class because
the information on the availability of another room for the class is not
available yet. I now expect that it will be tomorrow (Wednesday, August 23)
morning before I will be able to let you know.
