Activity 9: Cognitive Walkthrough

In this activity, students will be assigned specific tasks involving the Classroom Bridge software. Each group will focus on a specific set of tasks and perform cognitive walkthroughs for those tasks with a screen shot of the large screen display part of the software.

Students will be split into teams and assigned three tasks. Then they will analyze the interface through the cognitive walkthrough method.

The case materials involve the Cognitive Walkthrough startup form from Lewis, Polson, and Rieman. Be familiar with it for discussion purposes.

There will be a quiz on the material at the beginning of class. No make-up quiz will be given, so if you miss the quiz, you get a zero for that part of your grade!

Each person is encouraged to participate in this discussion.
