Class announcements for CS 3724, Intro to HCI 

(Bowman, Spring 2007)   

25 April: For those continuing with the semester, project phase 4 and 5 may be combined, with a due date of May 3. Groups are encouraged to turn in phase 4 as quickly as possible, however, in order to get feedback that may be helpful in phase 5.

23 April: Dr. Bowman’s office hours for the remainder of the semester will be held in McBryde 133A or 133B.

18 April: The specification for phase 5 of the project has been posted. Due date is May 3, 11:59 PM.

18 April: Due to the events on campus this week and the subsequent cancellation of classes, there are several changes to our class schedule. The deadline for phase 4 of the project has been pushed back to April 27. Phase 5 has been reduced in scope (final report only), and is due on May 3. The lecture and activity on emerging paradigms in HCI, originally scheduled for April 16 and 18, will now be on April 23 and 25 (see the calendar page). Students with questions or concerns about completing the class requirements are encouraged to speak to Dr. Bowman.

2 April: The specification for phase 4 of the project has been posted. Due date is April 18, 11:59 PM April 27, 11:59 PM.

26 March: No class on Wednesday March 28. Please use the time to work on finishing phase 3 of your projects.

26 March: Dr. North has a web page with additional help and information on GUI programming with C#.

7 March: The specification for phase 3 of the project has been posted. Due date is March 28, 11:59 PM

22 January: Homework 2 has been posted. Due date is Monday Jan. 29, 2:30 PM.

22 January: The list of project groups is now available.

17 January: Homework 1 has been posted. Due date is Monday Jan. 22, 9:00 AM.

17 January: Only students who attend the first day of class and complete the Force-Add form and Prerequisites form will be considered to Force-Add this course.

17 January: Note that this Web site is still under construction.  The higher level parameters of the course are not likely to change much, but specific activities, homeworks, and lectures could definitely change at this point. Please stop by and see the professor if you have any questions or contingencies.
