Respect -

• Always treat others as you would have them treat you
  • This goes back to Netiquette
• Never go to a web page and disrespect the person who has put thier time and energy into the page.  If you do not like or aggree with what they are saying, simply leave.

 

Non-Scool Related Sites -

• Do not visit sites durring the time when you are supposed to be doing research.
• If you unintentionally get to a site you know is inappropriate, quickly hit the back button.
• Do not search out sites you know to be inappropriate.
  • Pornagraphy
  • Game Sites
  • etc.

 

 

What is unethical use of school's resources?

• Playing games on the web.
• Searching for matierial that is not related to your work.
• Emailing people when you should be working.
• Creating or spreading viruses.
• Creating web pages that are not related to work you are doing in school
