q       The royal family has power over the rest of the government, and can freeze the government if it feels threatened.

 

q       People are not allowed to question the government, especially the royal family.

 

q       The national religion is Islam, and no questions are ever asked about this.

 

q       The culture of Kuwait will not allow much protesting.

 

q       Freedom of speech has very little value in Kuwait, and this is accepted.
