- Respect your classmates
- Don't work on assignments for other classes during lecture
- If you're sick, stay home and don't spread germs
- When late, wait for a break in the lecture to enter
- Don't interrupt another classmate's response - wait until they've finished
- Try to keep questions/comments related to the current discussion
- Don't stretch backwards into the person sitting behind you
- Don't come to class if you're more than 20 minutes late
- The use of firearms in class is prohibited
- No cursing
- Raise your hand when asking a question
- No loud typing
- No listening to headphones
- Wait until Dr. Hartson releases the class to begin packing up (though it
is all right to politely suggest that time is running out)
- Don't sleep during class
- No cell phones or pagers in class
- Don't come to class drunk
- No radio or CD players
- Students with good attendance get a good participation grade
- No talking
- Don't make distracting noises
- If you have food, bring enough for everyone
- Don't make up fake deaths (even your own) to get out of class
- Don't do homework for this or any other course during lectures or presentations
- Bathe before class
- If you arrive during a presentation, wait in the hall until the speaker
finishes
- Don't pass notes during class
- Try to appear awake
