    7. ALWAYS attend information sessions the night before the interview
    8. read newspapers, magazine articles about the company
      • library search
      • just keep up with industry news on a regular basis
      • use news services
    9. "give-away" magazines


    - Able to answer the questions:
    Why are you interviewing with our company?" or
    "What do you know about our company?"
    - Helps you ASK intelligent questions about the company.


  2. Dress right

  3. Show up on time.

  4. Bring :

    1. A portfolio with extra resumes, list of references, writing sample, copy of transcript, description of significant project (optional), list of questions, note pad (use after interview)
    2. Tissue/hankerchief in your pocket


  5. Use good body language.

    1. Shake hands properly
    2. Eye contact (5-7 sec.)
    3. Ask you friends if you have any annoying habits


  6. Try never to say just "yes" or "no" in response to questions.

  7. Ask some really good questions of the interviewer.

    1. Why do you like working for __________?
    2. Where do you see someone in this position in 5 years?
    3. try to indicate that you've read their brochures
      • "I've read that you have offices in Germany and France. What are the opportunities for assignments in those offices?"


  8. Try to get a card from the interviewer ...but for sure remember his/her name and get the company address BECAUSE

    YOU WILL SEND HIM/HER A THANK YOU LETTER

  9. Make some notes soon after the interview.
