I'm curious as to why there is so much anger over one sample set of test data with a few errors that Mr. McQuain put in an attempt to help us. Equating one set of test data in one project of one course to professors or instructors not caring or not having an interest is just plain lunacy. To answer your haiku, it didn't work well in this case but that is a rather gross generalization. What if the test data had been correct? Everyone would be overjoyed and elated.
: You are absolutely right Longest. There is nothing that says instructors must provide us with sample test data. There is nothing that says the instructors must provide us with a superior education. No one says they must have a vested interest in our ability to become productive members of the computer science industry. In fact, nothing even says they have to be here at tech teaching us. By teaching here, there is an implicit agreement to do the best they can!
: I feel my emotions can best be expressed in the form of a haiku.
: night before submit
: a plethora of data
: it does not work well
: Thank you.
