You seem to be correct, and my apologies for my repeat post(hadn't refreshed msg board).
Here's another section of the log that is clearly bungled: four grendels dissapear and reappear after a round, though this time it seems to be a dissaperance in the middle of their move queue, so that supports Longley's suggestion that it's a problem with the programmer's ecosystem tick function looping.
