Nadine, thanks for responding, yeah i do have experience with the debugger, and the problem
occurs right when execution hits the "return 0"
at the end of main. Does that make a difference? I'll run through the Database
ops i have towards the end and see what i can find, if anything. Thanks
: Do you have experience using MSVC++ debugger or gdb? What OS do you run..? The best thing would be to set a break point at the suspected criminal (most likely an op you do involving the Database near the end). I've included a link to tutorial on MSVC++ debugger I picked up off of Google. If you use gcc in Linux.. you can google to find a decent tutorial there too... that is the best chance you have at finding that sort of thing (AND get some sleep tonite)
: Codito Ergo Sum
: : My program runs fine until it reaches the end of main,
: : where i get an:
: : "Unhandled exception in Database.exe: 0xC0000005: Access Violation"
: : Its confusing because it doesnt happen until the end of main.
: : Does anyone know why this could be happening and maybe where
: : i can spot it? Thanks guys
