Other Object-Oriented Languages
There are many good object-oriented languages. Object-oriented programming
did not begin, and does not end, with C++. Each language has an interesting
viewpoint to bring to the study and development of programming and system
development in an object-oriented style. Arguments about which is the "best"
object-oriented language are unproductive. Your goal as a computer scientist
should be to understand the concepts behind the different languages and
be able to choose intelligently a specific language for a specific project.
