The ">" is handled by the OS. There is no special coding required for this case. It just takes STDOUT and redirects it to a file.
: I'm a little confused, or unfamiliar, with this... other than the command line arguments, is there any extra code needed to handle the possible redirection of the output? or does the executer no what to do with the extra " > output.txt" tacked on the end of the normal arguments.
