Aside from the fact that you're not conforming to the specification....


It is trivial to redirect standard output to a file; numerous students have posted how to do this on this Board and I'm not going to repeat it here.

You can also reset the console window properties so the default console window has any height and width you like, and buffers as many lines of output as you like. I usually set mine to be 40x100 and buffer 1000 lines.

Right-click on the console window title bar and go to Properties.

(And, it's not a "DOS" window unless you're unfortunate enough to be stuck with 95/98/Me.)

: : I can only see the last hundred or so lines of output in the dos window, I cannot scroll up to see the beginning. Anybody know how I can set it up so I can see all of it? Thanks.
