yes, it is the first thing ... and it needs to be an optional argument ... so if you do not supply the filename, the program should behave just like before ...

actually, you may not know this yet, but between myself and Pete we decided to remove stress testing and increase the points for other categories - so while your programs were tested for errors, you were not graded on that basis ...
as far as tests go, i have asked Pete to post those files ... but it does not mean that you will always get test data ... part of what we test for is the extent to which your program is robust ... and, no, we do not test for obscure errors but rather for those that we think are the most important and probable errors ...
