: I was able to duplicate and fix the problem you describe at home. The problem is simple: when you *first* tried to use it, you got the error. Then you installed the tools, and then went *back* to the curator...
: The problem is that your browser had the old java files/routines stored in either a disk cache
: or a memory cache or both. When you went back to use the tool the second time, the cache said, "I already have those files. I don't need to reload them." - thus, you got the error again. If your browser *had* reloaded the java stuff, you would have been able to use the system...
: To fix the problem - (I'm in Netscape... IE is probably similar.) Go to the "Preferences" setup in the Edit menu. Under "Category" (on the left), open up "Advanced", and click "Cache". Then click the "Clear Memory Cache" and "Clear Disk Cache" buttons. Then shut down Netscpae and rertart it again. You *should* now be able to use curator.
I also can't get into the curator, but I'm not getting any error message. When I go to...
http://eags.cs.vt.edu/eags/EAGSClient.html
all I get is Curator at the top and no java client. I've tried clearing my cache and restarting, with no change. What should I do? And what should I do if this can't be resolved by the due date?
