The CS 1704 Web chat room has been activated. To access the chat, read the chat help page and then fill out the form on the chat room Web page. The chat room should be used for class questions, help requests, course discussions and related messages. Students MUST use their actual names and Va Tech PID email addresses when posting to the chat room.
Note: Official course announcements will NOT be posted to the chat room or discussion board. Instructor announcements will be posted to the course listserv/announcements web page.
The chat room is unmoderated. Anyone may post any message related to CS 1704 they wish. The chat room will remain unmoderated as long as no one abuses their privileges. Anyone posting anonymous messages, abusive messages or engaging in flame wars, (arguments), or posting non-class related messages will be banned from the chat room at the discretion of the instructor(s).
| Test/Quiz questions/responses or programming assignment source code must NOT be posted to or discussed in the chat room. Students posting/discussing test/quiz answers/responses or programming assignment source code in the chat room will face Honor Court Violations. All other course policies linked off the policies section Web pages are in effect for the chat room. All messages to the listerv, discussion board, chat room and newsgroup are archived. |
