SPATIAL RELATIONSHIPS

Once an expression has been parenthesized, the spatial relationships between subexpressions can be displayed by dropping innermost parenthetical groups down the display:

The evaluation of an expression is now from the bottom up. Or from the point of view of a compiler, each sub-expression can be linearized in the code generation stage from the bottom up to show the order of evaluation:

temp1 = 7 ^ C

temp2 = temp1 * 2

temp3 = A + temp2
