Well obviously your string is not matching. I would check to see if you are accidently reading in a newline character before the licence or manufacturer. If you are, then you need to ignore the new line each time. It also maybe the tab that you are not ignoring. I would check this first.

I guess you can check to see if you are using the == to test equality and not =.

: I'm having a problem with the "not found" messages that we're supposed to put in if the search doesn't find what it needs. I have it in the For loop and so each time it checks the array it either outputs the right info or the error message, over and over and over. How can I fix this?
