: I've double checked my array indices to make sure they're not going out of bounds, yet when I execute the program inside Visual, I get the error: The instruction at "0x00405f25" referenced memory at "0xdddddddc". The memory could not be "read". But, I click okay and the console window comes up and says its usual press any key. . . and it goes on and terminates normally when a key is pressed. Can someone tell me where I might look in my code to find the cause of this anomaly?
Best candidate is that you DO have an array bounds error.
If not, make sure you aren't passing a stream variable by value instead of by reference.
If that's not it, make sure you've initialized all of your variables.
