Grade School Ethics

Activities


  1. Discuss each of the students' views and discuss what is right/wrong with each.
  2. Have students form groups and design a Ten Commandments of Computer Ethics using each others' ideas.
  3. Take the group designed Ten Commandments and design a set that the whole class agrees on.
  4. Compare and discuss the Ten Commandments already designed by the computer ethics institute.
  5. Discuss some possible penalties for not following the rules or the rules of the Ten Commandments of Computer Ethics
  6. Write down in class some things that would be bad to do to/on a computer.
  7. Using the group of 5 from your assignment. Each group gets a card(situation), which will be acted out in a skit. For example: Pedro asks Jonnie to cheat for him. Each situation will be discussed in class; however, the development of it will be done as a project.
