Announcements

• The commontime final exam for this course will be held Wednesday, December 16 at 11:05-1:05 pm in SURGE 104B. This final exam is optional. It will be largely a test of knowledge (as opposed to solving problems like you did on the first midterm). It covers material presented in class since the unit on Heuristics, that is, it covers material in the coursenotes from Slide 174 until the end of the semester. Prior to the final exam, you will be given a tentative letter grade and information about how well you would have to perform on the final to reach the next grade level.
