In preparation for writing your final research paper
(Assignment 14), provide the following information:
- Faculty advisor, and (if appropriate) other faculty who will
be involved.
- Degree, course, or other context in which this work is to be
done.
- A description of the topic (paper abstract).
- Proposed completion date and rough timetable for the work
to be described in the project, if applicable.
(Note: Work on the research project, not the
class assignment.)
- An outline showing the major topics to be addressed in the
paper.
- A brief description of where you are currently in your research
program. Be sure to (briefly!! in a couple of sentences) describe what
work if any you have already done related to the paper topic.
Also describe the extent of your discussions with your advisor or
potential advisor regarding the paper topic.
You homework submission must be signed by the supervising faculty member.
